- I do not believe that the term "religion" is contradictory to Christianity. I explained that already. This does not mean that I have any personal problem with people who say otherwise, and neither does it mean I consider them inferior in any way.
- I believe that the poem speaks out against things that need to be confronted. Dead religion (aka legalism, Pharisaism, formalism, hypocrisy, etc.) is what he actually addresses in the video, and it is evil. He said many true things about the spirit of false Christianity in the church today. He calls out people who "might preach grace, but another thing they practice." He confronts people who follow the kind of dead religion that is "just behavior modification, like a long list of chores \ Like lets dress up the outside make look nice and neat \ But it's funny that's what they use to do to mummies while the corpse rots underneath." These are all good things that he says, and he is addressing issues in the church that need to be addressed.
- I like the guy who made the video and I believe he is both talented and has a heart for God. He has some great poems and many great, God-oriented thoughts. This type of artist has been all but lost in society today. My only objection is based on misdefinition.

My Response to the Video, "Why I Hate Religion, but Love Jesus"
After seeing a lot of people post links to the video, "Why I Hate Religion, but Love Jesus," I posted about why Christianity is, in actuality, a religion. Sadly, I've caught a lot of flack for this, and I think people misunderstand my feelings. Admittedly, I did my post before watching the video, though that doesn't negate anything I said. So, let me clarify how I actually feel and think about the poem.
